Upcoming Adoption Drive 🏡🐾
We’ll also be participating in an upcoming adoption drive on 16 May at Woodlands North Plaza Atrium from 11AM–2PM!
A few of our residents, including Cookie & Oreo, Shinju, Rourou, Gino & Dino, and Mula, will be there to meet potential adopters and hopefully find their forever homes.
There’ll be plenty of activities happening throughout the event as well, including free snacks, kiddy rides, face painting, balloon sculpting, and a lucky dip, so feel free to stop by even if you’re just curious to learn more about adoption.
The event is completely free to attend, and no sign-up is needed! Just walk in anytime during the event hours, we'll see you there!
If you’ve been thinking about welcoming a cat into your home, this might just be the perfect chance to meet your purr-fect match 💛😆
Meet Some New Faces at Meownistry 🐈🐱
Garnet
Garnet, estimated to be 10 years old, spent most of her life outdoors around the Bukit Timah area. As time passed, the other community cats around her slowly disappeared, leaving her to fend for herself alone.
Now safely off the streets, her rescuer hopes Garnet can finally enjoy a slower and more comfortable life indoors. She’s a sweet senior girl who deserves a peaceful home after years of surviving outside.
Checkers
Checkers, a 1 year old tuxedo cat, was spotted around the Tuas factory area, where she eventually gave birth to a litter of kittens. After caring for her babies, she’s now been spayed and is finally ready to look for a home of her own.
She has adjusted surprisingly well and has become close friends with Waffles during her stay here. They can be adopted together, but are also confident enough to go separately if the right family comes along.
Ayami
Ayami, who was only 1 year old, was rescued from the Sixth Avenue area while pregnant and dealing with a tail injury. Life on the streets wasn’t easy for her, especially after being bullied by another community cat nearby.
After safely delivering her kittens in foster care and watching them all get adopted, it’s finally Ayami’s turn to be spoiled. She’s now sterilised and waiting patiently for her forever family.
BabyG
BabyG is a quiet and gentle girl who came from the Sixth Avenue area. She’s still learning to trust people and can be quite shy around unfamiliar faces, but we’ve been seeing small moments of progress here and there.
She previously had a brother who has since passed away, and we’re hoping she’ll eventually find a calm and understanding home where she can continue growing more confident at her own pace.
PS: she looks like Toothless’ twin! >.<
Gino
Gino was rescued from the Tuas industrial area and is honestly one of the easiest cats to befriend here. He has a tiny white patch on his chest and chin that looks like a little bow tie, which somehow matches his friendly personality perfectly.
He loves attention, follows people around, and is usually one of the first cats to come say hi. Very easy to handle, very playful, and sometimes gives tiny licks when he’s feeling extra affectionate.
If you want a cat that’s interactive and constantly involved in whatever you’re doing, Gino would probably fit right in!
Dino
Dino was also rescued from the Tuas industrial area and has slowly been getting more comfortable with people during his stay with us.
One thing about Dino: he LOVES high places. Top of the door, aircon, cabinets, tallest cat tree… if there’s an elevated spot somewhere, he’ll probably end up there eventually.
He’s curious, playful, and enjoys attention, but in a quieter and more observant way compared to Gino. We think he’d do really well in a home with lots of climbing spaces and people who don’t mind occasionally looking up to find him sitting somewhere impossible 😆
