Meet our Singapore rescue cats!

Most of our cats at Meownistry are adoptable (except permanent staff at the very bottom). If you are keen, do come down to meet and interact with the cats to see which ones are the best personal fit for you!

Oreo

Gender: Male

Estimated Age: 1 year old

Breed: Domestic short hair

These kittens rescued when their mother Lucky gave birth outside (littermates with Cookie). Playful and loves to climb up on you when given the chance. We are prioritising pair adoptions with Cookie as the two are very close.

Cookie

Gender: Female

Estimated Age: 1 year old

Breed: Domestic short hair

These kittens rescued when their mother Lucky gave birth outside (littermates with Oreo). Cookie is a brave explorer who doesn't hesitate to sniff anything and everything within reach. We are prioritising pair adoptions for Oreo and Cookie, as they are very close.

Didi

Gender: Male

Estimated Age: 3 years old

Breed: Domestic short hair, potential bengal mix

Didi was given up by their previous owner after they have no capacity to take care of him anymore. Didi is a brave explorer and a very curious boy. He likes to climb onto your shoulder and hold on while purring.

Waffles (in quarantine area)

Gender: Male

Estimated age: 3 years old

Waffles is a gentle cat who was rescued from the Sungei Kadut area as a factory is closing down and there will be no one around to provide fresh food and water. He will come to you for pats and purrs easily when he is happy.

Ace (in quarantine area)

Gender: Male

Estimated age: 5 years old

Ace is a gentle cat who was rescued from the Sungei Kadut area as a factory is closing down and there will be no one around to provide fresh food and water. Bubbles

Gender: Male

Age: 3 years old

We are temporarily fostering Bubbles while their owner's house is undergoing renovation. Very food motivated and energetic, he gets zoomies every night. Bullies Honey a bit because he wants to play and she never wants to play with him. Will sit on your lap and purr if he’s comfortable with you. He’s quite smart he knows how to give paw, high five and stand up as tricks.

Honey

Gender: Female

Age: 4 years old

We are temporarily fostering Honey while their owner's house is undergoing renovation. Honey’s a little shy but very sweet when she trusts you. Skittish around new people, but when she warms up to you she’ll follow you around and demand pets and butt pats all the time.

Miumiu

Gender: Female

Estimated Age: 1 year old

Breed: Domestic short hair

Miumiu is a timid 1-year-old girl who used to live near Marina at Keppel Bay with her siblings. Sadly, some complaints from nearby club members—who didn’t appreciate a cat resting near their cars—forced her to leave the only place she knew as home. She will gather up all her courage to eat treats from you!

Kiki

Gender: Male

Estimated Age: 1 years old

Breed: Domestic short hair

Kiki is a curious black cat who is always up for treats and mealtime. He uses his paw to eat when he scoops food. A little shy but forgets to be when there are treats present. He was rescued from landed property area near Namly / Bukit Timah with his brother Jiji.

Jiji

Gender: Male

Estimated Age: 1 years old

Breed: Domestic short hair

Living up to his (Japanese) Studio Ghibli counterpart, Jiji is a kind and playful cat that loves your attention. Recently came out of his shell with the help of treats, often spotted running around and playing with his brothers. Jiji was rescued from landed property area near Namly / Bukit Timah with his brother Kiki.

Lucky

Gender: Female

Estimated Age: 1 years old

Breed: Domestic short hair

Lucky is a mother of two kittens we have under our care (Oreo and Cookie). She is a stray found near a restaurant whom we trapped and neutered. Curious and will sniff to check if you have food. She's good friends with Paris.

Paris

Gender: Female

Estimated Age: 3 years old

Breed: Domestic short hair

Sweet affectionate lady who came from a hoarder house with 56 total cats. It is the same home as our previously adopted out cats Rusty and Bali. She has a long tail which is uncommon for Singapore Special cats. She's also good friends with Lucky. Will purr for treats!

Hui Hui (Currently on home trial)

Gender: Male

Estimated Age: 7 years old

Breed: Domestic short hair

Hui Hui is an affectionate cat who enjoys human interaction. He was found sleeping in the basket of a bicycle under a HDB void deck with a collar. We brought him in after community caretakers witnessed a neighbourhood kid kicking him in the face. We helped him to recover and now he's ready for a new home! He loves pats, will rub against strangers, and has a whole variety of meows, so you can never be bored of his "yapping". Likes to chill if he isnt eating or occassionally exploring for new places to lay flat on his side.

These are cats that will be at Meownistry for a whlie as we try out their suitability to be a cat that visitors can always greet and see.

Shinju

Gender: Male

Estimated Age: 1 years old

Breed: Tabby/Persian mix

Casper and Shinju both came from the same household and they were brought to Meownistry when the owner was no longer capable of taking care of them on their own. Shinju - meaning "Pearl" - will roll over for pets. He has occasional fits which we are controlling with medication and observation. He also has a grade 4 heart murmur that we are investigating as well.

Casper

Gender: Female

Estimated Age: 2 years old

Breed: Persian/American curl mix

Casper and Shinju both came from the same household and they were sent to Meownistry when the owner was no longer capable of taking care of them on their own. Friendly and playful, she and Shinju are the best of friends. Loves to whack anything you wave in front of her.
