Meet our Singapore rescue cats!

Most of our cats at Meownistry are adoptable (except permanent staff at the very bottom). If you are keen, do come down to meet and interact with the cats to see which ones are the best personal fit for you!

Cookie (left) & Oreo (right)

Gender: Female (Cookie) and Male (Oreo)

Estimated Age: 1 year old

Breed: Domestic short hair

Can you tell these two apart? Cookie (left) has a black nose and Oreo (right) has a pink nose.

These kittens are rescued when their mother Lucky gave birth outside. Playful and loves to climb up on you when given the chance. We are prioritising pair adoptions as these two are very close. They are very playful and can be seen running all over the floor chasing each other up and down the stairs as well.

Oreo has wobbly cat syndrome from an earlier infection which limits his jumping ability. However, that does not stop him from climbing as much as he can to reach what he wants. We put out pet stairs so that he can explore to his heart's content.

Didi

Gender: Male

Estimated Age: 3 years old

Breed: Domestic short hair, potential bengal mix

Didi was given up by their previous owner after they have no capacity to take care of him anymore. Didi is a brave explorer and a very curious boy. He likes to climb onto your shoulder and hold on while purring.

Waffles (on Level 3)

Gender: Male

Estimated age: 3 years old

Breed: Tabby tuxedo cat

Waffles is a gentle cat who was rescued from the Sungei Kadut area as a factory is closing down and there will be no one around to provide fresh food and water. He will come to you for pats and purrs easily when he is happy.

Checkers (on Level 3)

Gender: Female

Estimated Age: 1 years old

Breed: Tuxedo domestic short hair

Checkers was found roaming at the Tuas factory area and gave birth to some kittens (with another fosterer; up for adoption as well!). She is now spayed and ready for a forever home! She is good friends now with Waffles and can be adopted together with him or separately.

Garnet / Mui Mui (on Level 3)

Gender: Female

Estimated Age: 10 years old

Breed: Calico domestic short hair

Previously roaming the streets at Bukit Timah, the rest of the community cats there have disappeared and left Garnet on her own. Rescuer is hoping to find her a loving home and retire her from being a street cat.

Ayami (in quarantine)

Gender: Female

Estimated Age: 1 years old

Breed: grey tuxedo domestic short hair

Ayami was found on the streets pregnant and with a tail injury at Sixth Avenue area. She was getting bullied by another street cat and was thus taken in. She gave birth at a previous fostering place before coming to us. Her kittens are adopted and now, she's spayed and ready for a forever home!

BabyG (in quarantine)

Gender: Female

Estimated age: 4 years old

Breed: black cat

BabyG is a gentle cat who was rescued from the Sixth Avenue area. She is still shy around humans and need our visitors to show that people are not a threat! She had a brother who has since passed away.

Earl Grey Naicha (milk tea) (In quarantine)

Gender: Female

Age: 2

Breed: British shorthair mix tabby

Naicha (milk tea) was found abandoned and was with AVS for a while before we bailed her out. She is friendly and calm, always curious to explore the surroundings.

Bubbles

Gender: Male

Age: 3 years old

We are temporarily fostering Bubbles while their owner's house is undergoing renovation. Very food motivated and energetic, he gets zoomies every night. Bullies Honey a bit because he wants to play and she never wants to play with him. Will sit on your lap and purr if he’s comfortable with you. He’s quite smart he knows how to give paw, high five and stand up as tricks.

Honey

Gender: Female

Age: 4 years old

We are temporarily fostering Honey while their owner's house is undergoing renovation. Honey’s a little shy but very sweet when she trusts you. Skittish around new people, but when she warms up to you she’ll follow you around and demand pets and butt pats all the time.

Miumiu

Gender: Female

Estimated Age: 1 year old

Breed: Domestic short hair

Miumiu is a timid 1-year-old girl who used to live near Marina at Keppel Bay with her siblings. Sadly, some complaints from nearby club members—who didn’t appreciate a cat resting near their cars—forced her to leave the only place she knew as home. She will gather up all her courage to eat treats from you!

Shinju

Gender: Male

Estimated Age: 1 years old

Breed: Tabby/Persian mix

Casper and Shinju both came from the same household and they were brought to Meownistry when the owner was no longer capable of taking care of them on their own. Shinju - meaning "Pearl" - will roll over for pets. He has occasional fits which we are controlling with medication and observation. He also has a grade 4 heart murmur that we are investigating as well.

Casper

Gender: Female

Estimated Age: 2 years old

Breed: Persian/American curl mix

Casper and Shinju both came from the same household and they were sent to Meownistry when the owner was no longer capable of taking care of them on their own. Friendly and playful, she and Shinju are the best of friends. Loves to whack anything you wave in front of her.
